Jumping Genres Once Again, and Still Shocking Us All: a Review of Polarity/1’s ‘music From the Other Side’

Polarity/1, the multi-genre artist best known for bold, honest, hard-hitting songs, has released a brand new instrumental record titled ‘Music From the Other Side’. The new CD continues the opinion-filled musical legacy of Polar: fitting to the title, the album consists of smooth, jazzy tracks much different from louder albums like ‘Yankin’ The Food Chain’. Proving that this album is no less diverse than his others, Polar once again shows his ability to spread his talent over a wide variety of genres; his music has been incorporated by dance theaters and documentarists, including Danny Schechter’s feature-length film documentary ‘In Debt We Trust’ and Battery Dance Company’s 26th Annual Downtown Dance Festival last year.

Review Of Grey’S Anatomy Music

One would expect mushy love songs to be played in the background of a hospital love drama in soap. And thats just what you will get from Greys Anatomy. But of course the choices are not the cheesiest ones. The show does have some good taste in music actually. And if they ever choose cheesy music it is meant to be ironic or funny. If you are a rabid fan of the medical series, then you would probably already know that the Greys Anatomy Music Soundtrack I and Soundtrack vol. II are just small simple samples of the great mix of songs that were used in the hit episodes in the series. With that said, lets list down some of the best (according to my criteria of course) that where heard. A lot of Greys Anatomy Music are gives you both a feeling of dread and of being uplifted at the same time. A lot of them are melodic, entrancing, emotive, and makes the best use of silence.

Bernie Leadon Natural Progressions Country Music CD Review

Richly talented Country artist Bernie Leadon has released him latest CD titled Natural Progressions and Wow! It’s really a good one.

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Natural Progressions. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Natural Progressions has a pleasantly varied, mix of 10 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly gifted artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

Jazz Music Review: Dave Percell’s New Released Solo Album

Acclaimed Latin Jazz, and Funk Guitarist Dave Percell has just emerged to the Southern California Jazz scene with a newly released solo album, “Eternal Traveler”.

This new, yet exceptionally talented guitarist has delivered a new CD with nothing less than a brilliant display of what a #1 hit CD should contain. It’s very rare that one can listen to a CD and actually enjoy all of the tracks, but I guarantee that not one song on this CD is a filler. Every song on Dave’s new album, “Eternal Traveler” was pieced together with soul and passion.

The jazz industry has long awaited a musician such as Dave Percell. He’s different, he’s fresh, and he’s brought a new zeal behind the nylon strings. He’s created his own style and his own sound. Whether you like Jazz or not…….you’ll fall in love Dave Percell.

While the entire album is incredible, my Fave 3 tracks are:
